Lame Paths

18 Jun

Hebrews 12  verse 13 says “and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.”

The revelation God gave me about this verse is that God would rather heal what is broken in your life to his glory and purpose.  If not, he will cut it off and you will suffer the perpetual limp like Jacob in the old testament.

I am not saying that Jacob’s limp was anything but God’s mercy for his life, but wouldn’t you rather walk straight before the Lord?

I know I do.
