Dear President Obama (Updated)

23 Mar

Thank you for all your hard work in office… finally the church in America is once again praying.

You did the right thing by running for office a second time… the legalization of medical marijuana may just save this planet as the next cash crop just as tobacco did for our ancestors many years ago.  May you retire with dignity and honor and live wherever Jesus may lead you.  You have a beautiful family and thus are not “the Antichrist” as many people were silently hoping for, just because you choose to reach for a dream which many in America are still not ready to accept.

Please… never divorce this country from your prayers… you are needed down here to bring peace to many in other countries who are still silently suffering…

Personally, I would prefer you stay in office until you feel the need to retire… people need someone to idolize in this country for doing everything right…

As always, it is my prayers that you and your family remains safe and free from harm and can find rest in the days ahead in the gentle arms of our risen savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.  It is no secret that unquestionably all prayers are safe, even for us common folk; as without question you have beautiful children, of which the world is truly blessed by their modesty and kind human approach to a world carved in darkness and utter human depravity.  You set for this nation and around the world the most beautiful example of what a family should be like by just loving them each first individually and then as a family.  How dare Christians laugh at you because of you personal beliefs… as our nation was founded with the ideas of peace, especially when it comes to our shared and most common Christian faiths.

Anybody would be a fool not to acknowledge that you were left with a mess after our last president chose to shed so much bloodshed and in turn wasted so many good human lives on foreign soil just for the sake of stupid greed and of course the love of money (or in this case oil).

Thank you for keeping this country safe to the best of your human ability.  God bless you!

The Lord (blessed be his name) showed me the tremendous amount of pressure you have been under day and night just trying to protect the us the chosen faithful (in whatever religion they may be currently hiding in).  Your efforts to bring peace are truly amazing as you are a truly gifted speaker and lover of world peace.

Personally, if more Christians were like me and actually prayed for you instead of bashing you in their quiet times with the Lord (never mind on the radio) they may see you are a man of many talents and interesting ideas… Blessed be!

We who study history are aware that America’s time has run out as bully on the block just to satisfy our carnal appetites, of which mainly is our love of money while the rest of the world is starving.  We know our credit rating is not good, because we lied to all about how much this country is truly a “Christian” nation.  Detroit is once again becoming a beautiful city thanks to your financial aid and by allowing free education to young people everywhere to realize their own dreams and ideologies.

Please allow me to apologize for the stupid ones who mock what they do not see.  Personally, one of my dearest friends is currently back home in Syria (where it is hell on earth at the moment as you are well aware because of the rebellious religious sect Isis) where, after studying in a local University here in Detroit, he is now back home safe and sound with the freedom to choose between good versus evil, right versus wrong.  He was a humble foreign exchange student who needed help learning the nuances of the English language and in return showed me mercy with my humble attempt of learning one of the hardest languages on earth, which obviously is Arabic!  It’s still mostly Greek to me!  lol.

Thank you for allowing this country to change for the better… thankfully us Christians are still “A” okay!

Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to read a humble pastor’s blog…

Sincerely,

Your friend in Christ,

Pastor John Mark Butzu

Detroit, Michigan USA

P.S  I would personally like to see Christians locked up that do not pray for this country.  For that is our duty (as you my readers are well aware) to pray for whomever God chooses to bless while in the white house… good or bad, whatever the case may be.

Many Christians suffered for their faith under extreme persecution as it makes the weak break and the strong survive to live another day.  In China, one out of four pastors are in prison at any given time and miracles happen there on a daily basis… It is our prayer that young believers grow strong in their faith if they knew what was best before time runs out and it is judgement day… what a terrible waste for some who choose to lie rich with full bellies and not care and hoard while others even in their own back years are literally starving for the knowledge of our precious savior Jesus Christ.  God help the younger generation to see the need on the streets and in our now global society

Amen.

Understanding the Times in Which Live

8 May

Editor’s note:  Here is a very interesting article I found online.   It’s contains some great answers concerning the controversial subject: “Has the tribulation begun?” I urge everybody to read it.

——————————————————————————

March 1st, 2009

The tribulation starts at Rev. 6:1 (opening of the first seal) and ends on Rev. 19: 21 (Christ returns to take control of the earth).

Starting from Rev. Chapter 6, from the opening of the First Seal to the opening of the Sixth Seal, is the Tribulation that the Church has to go through. I think this is very similar to what the Jews had to go through when they were in Egypt, where they (Jews) had to experience the first three plagues with the Egyptians, but on the 4th plague onwards, it was only towards the Egyptians.

After the sixth seal is opened, (Rev. 6:12, a great earthquake) that will be the start of the “great tribulation” and at the start of this “great tribulation” is the rapture of the church (Rev. 7: 9-17). After the sixth seal is open, and before the seventh seal is open, there are three important events that take place.
1. Start of the “Great Tribulation” (Rev. 7:14)
2. Anointing of the 144,000 Jewish believers in Christ, which will do God’s work after the Church is Raptured (Rev. Rev. 7: 3-8)
3. Rapture of the Church (Rev. 7:9-17).

After the rapture, God will severely punish the Earth, with the opening of the seventh seal (Rev. 8:1).

Daniel’s 70th week starts on Rev. 11:3 when the two witnesses appear on the world stage for 1260 days (3.5 years). At this point, Israel will sign a seven year peace treaty with the antichrist. The Two Witnesses of Rev. 11:3 will, among many other things, warn the Jews in Jerusalem about the peace treaty they signed with the antichrist (Bible calls the peace treaty a “covenant of death” for the Jews). No one will be able to kill the two witnesses for 3.5 years (Rev 11: 5-6). After the 3.5 years are up, Satan is given power for 3.5 years and he wastes no time in killing the two witnesses (to shut them up) and gets the antichrist to break the peace treaty with israel (abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel and Jesus). When this happens, the Jews in Israel must run to the mountains for safety (Rev. 12:6). This time is know as “Jacob’s trouble” because this is when Satan is thrown out of heaven (Rev. 12: 7-8) and will have power over the earth for 3.5 years. Except for the people who had flee to the mountains (Rev. 12:6, who are safe), everyone else on earth, he has the power to kill, including the two witnesses (Rev. 11:7), and new born again Christians (Rev. 13:7) from the “Great Tribulation”.

I think the key to understanding Rev. Chapter 11 and 12 is understanding Daniel’s 70th week ( a seven year period) and the timing of the two witnesses. Peter Goodgame wrote a good article on it at: http://www.redmoonrising.com/twowitnesses.htm

From the start of the tribulation at Rev. Chapter 6 to the end of Chapter 10, we do not know how long it lasts. However, from Rev. Chapter 11 to the end of Chapter 19, we know it lasts seven years (Daniel’s 70th week).

Why did I write all this you ask? The Bible tells use that we are to know the signs of the times and be watchful, a “pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man (Luke 21:36). In other words, to escape God’s judgement on the earth once the seventh seal is opened.

So where are we exactly in Bible Prophecy today? In the middle of last year, I saw a video from Prophecy in the news, called “Feasts of The Lord”. If you haven’t watched already, below is the link:

Part 1: http://choothomas.com/prophecy.wmv
Part 2: http://choothomas.com/prophecy2.wmv

What this video is saying is Sep 29 2008 is the start of a new Jewish year (of a 7 year cycle). ). At the end of this 7 year cycle, on the 7th year (Sabbatical Year) begins on Sep 24, 2014 (sunset) to Sep. 13 2015. What is interesting is that there are a series of four lunar eclipses on or near the Sabbatical Year of 2014/2015.

The four lunar eclipses will occur on:

Passover, April 15, 2014 (Before Sabbatical Year)
The Feast of Tabernacles, October 8, 2014 (in the Sabbatical Year)
Passover, April 4, 2015 (in the Sabbatical Year)
The Feast of Tabernacles, September 28, 2015 (Few days after Sabbatical Year)

This phenomenon of four lunar eclipses on successive Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) will not happen again for hundreds of years. The last time four successive lunar eclipses occurred on these holy days was in 1967-1968, the year Israel liberated Jerusalem! And before that, in 1949-1950, the year after Israel became a state! The last two successive four lunar eclipses were a sign from God that something very significant happened to Israel. Therefore, it’s very possible that the same will happen with the upcoming four successive lunar eclipses in 2014/2015.

Why did I mention the new Jewish new year (sep. 29 2008) and the four successive lunar eclipses on jewish holy days?

Jesus said in Luke 21: 25 to watch for signs in the “sun, in the moon, and in the stars” for his return. The four successive lunar eclipses, I believe, is an important sign because the last time these eclipses occurred, there were significant events associated with Israel and after the 2014/2015 eclipses, there will not be another one like it for hundreds of years.

Another important sign was what happened on Sep. 29, 2008. Many christians believe that if Israel signed a peace treaty with the Arabs on that day, that that would be the start of the seven year tribulation. However, as we just discussed, the tribulation is not seven years. Daniel’s 70th week is seven years and it starts on Rev. 11: 3. By that time, the tribulation/great tribulation will have already started (from Rev. Chapter 6 to end of Chapter 10).

On Sep. 28 2008 (Start of Jewish New Year, of 7 year cycle)
– Largest single day number drop in the History of the Dow
– Dow down 777 points
– Dow down 7%
– Wall Streets Response to Failed 700 Billion Dollar Proposed Takeover by US Government

On this day, it had God’s fingerprint all over it and was an important sign that marked the beginning of judgements on not just the United States, but the world. I believe on Sep. 28 2008 was when the seals of Rev. Chapter 6 were opened. Notice that the seals are not marked by any single event, but rather a gradual decline in specific areas of our society. The fist four seals (war, lack of peace, famine, and death) can easily be caused by our current global economic crisis, where people and societies don’t have the funds to buy what they need. If I’m right and we are living at the start of the tribulation, then our current global financial crisis will not get any better and in fact will get much much worst.

In sum, I believe the tribulation started on Sep. 29 2008 and sister Choo’s announcement that the tribulation has started a few months ago further reinforced by beliefs on this matter. I hope some of the evidences presented here will help you understand the signs of our times and better prepare you for what lies ahead.

God bless you all!!!

Why do Christians love to disagree?

21 Apr

This too was taken off of an older blog… sometime in the spring of 2008.  Hope you enjoy it.

Today I was introduced to a woman who hosts a Messianic Christian talk show program online.  I was hoping to have a nice quiet, edifying discussion about the Hebrew Bible, particularly since she too claims to have a love for the Hebrew language and is  a Jew by birth!  Not the case.  Right away, I knew there was going to be problems basically because of her unwillingness to allow me to even communicate with her without her attempting to control and alter the conversation.  She claims to have studied under different rabbi’s and from I can tell is probably somewhat educated.  Yet while she talked her only agenda it was obvious was to convert me to her beliefs on practicing our faith with the keeping of the levitical, Mosaic law; by observing the different feasts and so forth.  She claims that the early church, both Jews and Gentiles, kept these feasts and we are clearly wrong from scripture not to do the same.  I would have at least listened politely to what she had to say if it had not been for the way that she had said it.  I can remember when I first began studying Hebrew, I felt such a love for the ancient themes and cultures of the Holy land (and still do) and even remember the Holy Spirit leading me to observe the Sabbath on a different day of the week, such as on Saturday.  But what stuck me as being so distasteful was her lack of interest and total self absorption for anything but her own point of view.  I think she may have wanted to check to see if I had been properly circumcised if I had allowed the conversation to continue.  (Please don’t dwell on this point!)  I quickly excused myself and when back to my work.  Ughhh!  There is nothing more stupid in my opinion than for a Christian who willingly and intentionally is comfortable with causing a division over carnal pet doctrines and the teachings of man.  How you know what a person truly is like is not by their words but by their actions.  I don’t care what any one is trying to tell me.  If in their words you sense a readiness or a willingness to cause divisions and strife, watch out!  If during any debate (and there has been a few legitimate debates by Christians in the past usually over a newly learned piece of information) you do not sense above all else a deep and abiding, pure river of love emanating from whomever is heading the discussion, the best thing is probably to excuse yourself politely and walk away.  They are not really after your best interest but their own.  Remember what the apostle Paul had to endure when Jews that had been supposedly converted to Christ came to spy out the liberty and freedom of the churches in Antioch.  Not once did Paul allow their words to have any place in his meetings as they were trying to add to the message of the gospel of faith alone in Jesus; much to their own sense of Jewish traditionalism and nationalism. Man inherently always tries to find a way to spoil the simple truths of the Gospel.  When the crowd on the day of Pentecost cried out in Acts 2 “what must we do to be saved,” Peter’s answer was simple: Repent and be baptized“.   No seven steps to this or three steps to that, no, just a simple acknowledgment of having done wrong and a willingness to want to change. I guess that is why I am also so against much of the “self help” books that are published for and by the church today.  Don’t they read their Bible’s?  Your flesh cannot be altered or improved!  It must be crucified!  Imagine Peter, instead of his recorded sermon in Acts 2 choosing instead to preach a message entitled “Your Best Life Now” or some rubbish of the like.  What a hypocrite he would have been called by the people he had seemingly just converted, as just two chapters later we find him sitting in a holding cell after being arrested for holding a street meeting, preaching and healing a cripple!  Later, they were beaten, kicked, stoned, rejected thrown in prison, delivered from prison, mocked, ridiculed, thrown back in jail, condemned to death, put on crosses, set on fire, and publicly denounced as being stupid and blasphemous: the very rejects of a pagan society!  Their women and children may have been forced to become slaves of the vilest types.  Not what most people would esteem as their best life now by even most third world countries’ standards of living.  Yet this has always been the design and craftsmanship of God, to separate the wheat from the chaff.  What a horrible judgment awaits these false bishops who claim to represent a God they know nothing about!  You could have been raised in church all you life.  It really doesn’t matter.  What does matter is your relationship with God – do you really know Him?  Do you sense His presence when no one else is around, or do you prefer the internet, movies and hours and hours sensual, vile television?  I write these blogs as preparations for messages that one day I may be asked to preach and as well as to hone and develop my skills as a writer and critical thinker.  (Not really, I hardy have time to proof these for grammatical errors as you by now may have noticed!)  But rest assured, my treasures are not in things of this world.  No way!  My treasures are in heaven!

Going back to my conversation with this woman, I can disagree with you but still believe with you and pray for you and most of all love you: even while continuing to disagree with you about nonessential doctrines.  Maybe this observing the feasts was to her an essential doctrine, but them I would have to conclude (as I do) that she is living far from the grace of our God and very near to the bondage that comes with trying to keep the law.  Her life is spent far from the cross at Calvary, my guess would be more like incorporating into her preconceived ideas of learned religion the redemptive work and blood of Jesus Christ.

Please do not be mistaken, even though my flesh felt like pulling away from her in mid-sentence, when I did walk away the Holy Spirit allowed me to feel apart of how much He loves her in spite of the trouble.  She still belongs to the body of Jesus Christ and is loved by the Father.  And he has allowed me to feel that love for her.  So even though we do not agree, if she was willing to “put down the gloves” so to speak” (and by putting her false doctrine away), we would be able to have beautiful communion because of the fact we are still members of the same true church; the body of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Please do not allow your personal views and preferences to cause strife or division toward any other member of the body of Christ.   It is embarrassing.

Quote: “Satan loves to promote disunity, for he knows something that many Christians don’t – God refuses to work in a context of disunity.” (Tony Evans)

“Satan has always been a deceiver and must truly rejoice when any thing is allowed to be elevated higher than the finished work of Jesus Christ, his death on the cross, and thus His payment for our sins.”  (Me!)
